Super 8 Botanical Collage Workshop & Screening
Community Screening July 4, 2022 ✿ 9pm at Epicenter

Tree News organized a series of botanical collage and direct animation workshops with youth at the PACT Community Center and Teen Center in Green River, Utah during a fellowship at Epicenter. Participants visited sites around Green River and gathered plants and other materials to collage onto super 8mm film. The film included materials from Pearl Baker Park, the banks of the irrigation canal, Anna's garden, Hannah's farm, the former missile base, and the uranium tailings disposal site.

The final animation was screened with the release of Issue No. 3.
